Join us in Australia from October 27-31, 2021 for the experience of a lifetime as we become mates for life...

A Commitment to quality

Quality Instruction

The IOGKF World Gasshuku will bring together the best instructors from all corners of the globe, making this a truly International event and competition that will be remembered for years to come. Leading the Gasshuku will be Master Morio Higaonna's heir and IOGKF World Chief Instructor, Sensei Tetsuji Nakamura. This will be the first ever IOGKF World event not to feature Master Higaonna.

Quality Venues

The Australian Institute of Sports' combat centre and timber floor courts will be the home for all the training held at the Gasshuku. To put these facilities into perspective, the Japanese Olympic Judo team prefers to train in Australia rather than in their own country.

Quality Experiences

Canberra is know as the 'bush capital'. Experience the modern city recently voted as the best city in the world, which is set among the iconic Australian bush. Easy to access, it is just as easy to visit beautiful Sydney harbour, historic Melbourne or the awe inspiring Great Barrier Reef.
